How to reproduce
-----
1. I inserted a used CD into the CD tray, and ejected it (without unmounting).
2. I inserted a blank CD into the tray, and opened the iso I intended to burn with Brasero.
3. I switched the burn speed to 10x, and attempted to burn the iso to the CD.
4. I cancelled the burn, as the checksum wasn't appearing to be created, and manually ejected the disk as instructed.
5. I unmounted the used CD as still displayed (for whatever reason) on the desktop, and once more attempted to burn the iso to the blank CD, resulting in a crash.

How to reproduce
-----
1. Opened the right click quick write function with Brasero
2. Selected the Fedora ISO, and started multiple copies writing session
3. At the end of the writing new brasero session pops up, as new disc is inserted, and gives out again an another writing window, what freezing out the whole brasero process. Closing the new window is impossible. Also no eject function at the end of writing, else always asks to remove manually to continue/finish the process - even if only single disc is written.

Package: brasero-2.32.0-1.fc14
Architecture: x86_64
OS Release: Fedora release 14 (Laughlin)

How to reproduce
-----
1. Install two DVD writer drives (SATA), make BIOS and kernel happy with them both.
2. Shutdown, power off, disconnect SATA cable on one drive, power on, don't adjust BIOS, boot.
Kernel still thinks that two drives are present (including drive with disconnected SATA cable),
although only one drive is configured:
     kernel: [ 2.233550] ata5: PATA max UDMA/100 cmd 0x1f0 ctl 0x3f6 bmdma 0xff00 irq 14

     kernel: [ 2.406359] ata6.00: configured for UDMA/100
3. Insert CD-R platter with CD-DA data (drive which still is connected); Gnome desktop recognizes Audio Disk.
4. Start Brasero, which gets confused, perhaps because kernel is also confused:
     kernel: [ 141.793051] ata6: lost interrupt (Status 0x58)

How to reproduce
-----
1. I tried to open an .iso file with Brasero
2. Brasero crashed.

Comment
-----
1. From the backtrace I must conclude that the program was trying to give the command to open another .iso than that which I was trying to open. I had opened that other .iso with Brasero just before.
2. Immediatly afterwards Brasero functioned normally.

Comment 180 Fedora End Of Life 2012-08-16 19:19:08 UTC
This message is a notice that Fedora 14 is now at end of life. Fedora
has stopped maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 14. It is
Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no
longer maintained. At this time, all open bugs with a Fedora 'version'
of '14' have been closed as WONTFIX.

(Please note: Our normal process is to give advanced warning of this
occurring, but we forgot to do that. A thousand apologies.)

Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you
plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, feel free to reopen
this bug and simply change the 'version' to a later Fedora version.

Bug Reporter: Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that
we were unable to fix it before Fedora 14 reached end of life. If you
would still like to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it
against a later version of Fedora, you are encouraged to click on
"Clone This Bug" (top right of this page) and open it against that
version of Fedora.

Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's
lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a
more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes
bugs or makes them obsolete.

The process we are following is described here:
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers/HouseKeeping

Note You need to log in before you can comment on or make changes to this bug.
