is my presumption correct, this bug only affects users of other desktops than gnome? (xfce in my case?)
(In reply to comment #15) > is my presumption correct, this bug only affects users of other desktops than > gnome? (xfce in my case?) I don't know about the ratio of gnome users to non-gnome users, but I'm using gnome with gnome-shell.
Matthias that is incorrect, I get that error in Gnome every other time I open Brasero. I am using the latest Gnome in Fedora 14 repos (not Gnome-Shell). In my case it would seem that if I open brasero, burn a disk, and then close as usual then the very next open will crash. After the crash brasero opens as expected and I can burn again. I am not sure if they are related but I also get the error on burn completion that the disk cannot be ejected and must be ejected manually. For more info on that look at Bug #646377.
Yesterday, I was able to burn a CD using brasero on F15 whithout a problem. rpm -q brasero brasero-3.0.0-2.fc15.x86_64
