Description Shusaku Yamamoto 2000-01-06 07:43:24 UTC
Hi,

I installed Redhat Linux6.1 to my PC that has SiS6326-8MB on board
video card. Installer recognized it automatically and boot with VGA
(or SVGA?) GUI login prompt. I installed KDE and GNOME.

During installation and booting, there were no problems. Also all
applications from GNOME and KDE worked fine.

But only xterm didn't work correctry. It didn't show any characters.
It looked character color and background color were same. I tried to
change forground color and background color, also some display resolutions
like VGA, SVGA and XVGA, and switing KDE, GNOME and fale safe mode.
All of them were no impact for this problem.

Right now, I can't use the Linux, because there are no meaning to use it
without xterm.

Below is my XF86Config.

Thanks,
Shusaku
