Description of problem: When attempting to access the jboss console only a blank page is displayed. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): jboss-as-7.1.1-13.fc18.noarch How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. service start jboss-as 2. Browse to http://localhost:8080/ 3. Click on "Administration Console" Actual results: The browser is opens http://localhost:9990 displaying a blank page. Expected results: The browser is opens http://localhost:9990 displaying the administration console login prompt or the actual page... Additional info: I have verified jboss is listening on 9990. e.g. $ sudo netstat -lanp |egrep '(8080|9990)' tcp 0 0 127.0.0.1:9990 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 28164/java tcp 0 0 127.0.0.1:8080 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 28164/java No exceptions are displayed in the log.
That's expected behavior since we don't have the console packaged. The problem is that in Fedora we do not have the JBoss AS console dependencies (GWT and other) available. One thing we can do about it is to remove the link form JBoss AS home page.
