Expected results:

Additional info:

I have verified jboss is listening on 9990. e.g.
$ sudo netstat -lanp |egrep '(8080|9990)'
tcp        0      0 127.0.0.1:9990          0.0.0.0:*               LISTEN      28164/java
tcp        0      0 127.0.0.1:8080          0.0.0.0:*               LISTEN      28164/java

No exceptions are displayed in the log.

That's expected behavior since we don't have the console packaged. The problem is that in Fedora we do not have the JBoss AS console dependencies (GWT and other) available.

One thing we can do about it is to remove the link form JBoss AS home page.

I'm marking this as a duplicate of bug #853457, but feel free to open another ticket to remove the link.
