*** Bug 91592 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 91120 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I would add that cdparanoia and cdda2wav will show the same problem. I am using RH9 2.4.20-18 on a MSI K7t266 MB. When I try to digitally record from a CD and look at dmesg I see missing interrupts. Using an older CD rom (1999 AOPEN 48X) produces fewer missing interrupts. Using a newer CD rom 52X MEMOREX or LG produces more missing interrupts. If I configure either CD as ide-scsi and try to digitally record from that CD the kernel crashes. I recompiled the kernel to use APIC and it does not help. Steve Thanks for the bug report. However, Red Hat no longer maintains this version of the product. Please upgrade to the latest version and open a new bug if the problem persists. The Fedora Legacy project (http://fedoralegacy.org/) maintains some older releases, and if you believe this bug is interesting to them, please report the problem in the bug tracker at: http://bugzilla.fedora.us/ |
