Do you have a screen shot of what you are seeing? Also, in your steps, are you assuming that he guest on (2) is running on the host from (1)? If so, you need to run virt-what to connect the host to the guest to make the host specific pools show up.
I have re-attached the screenshot with highlighing "type".(PFA:re-attach) Yes the virtual machine in step 2 is running on the host at step 1. and both had same version of subscription manager Here my observation was "Type" being shown as "Phyiscal" for "virt-only" subscription , and was expecting the "type" to be marked as "Virtual"
