Also, in your steps, are you assuming that he guest on (2) is running on the host from (1)? If so, you need to run virt-what to connect the host to the guest to make the host specific pools show up. I have re-attached the screenshot with highlighing "type".(PFA:re-attach) Yes the virtual machine in step 2 is running on the host at step 1. and both had same version of subscription manager Here my observation was "Type" being shown as "Phyiscal" for "virt-only" subscription , and was expecting the "type" to be marked as "Virtual" Created attachment 742492 [details]
