This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for inclusion
in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux release.  Product Management has
requested further review of this request by Red Hat Engineering, for
potential inclusion in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux release for currently
deployed products.  This request is not yet committed for inclusion in
a release.

Reopening the bug

The fact  "virt.host_type" disappears from GUI when the system is registered and appears when the system is unregistered.

Those are the two scenarios shown in comment 1 (system registered) and comment 3 (system unregistered).

I have tested this on fedora 18 with 1.8.9 of subscription manager. It appears to be fixed. I did the following:


1. Pull up subscription-manager-gui.
2. View the facts dialog, expand the one called virt, and see 2 items.
3. Close the facts dialog, register, and do step 2 again. No change.
4. Close the facts dialog, unregister, and do step 2 again. No change.
