KDE Plasma 5's Apper download messages overlaps, see attached screenshot.

Comment 1 Kevin Kofler 2015-04-05 11:17:23 UTC
This looks like a bug in the Breeze Qt 4 style, which is part of the plasma-breeze SRPM.

Comment 9 Rex Dieter 2016-05-05 13:44:38 UTC
Per the update descriptions, not a full fix, but only a workaround by hard-coding alternative styles (oxygen or plastique) to be used instead of default (and known-bad in this case) breeze.

Comment 16 moondrake 2016-06-03 12:17:31 UTC
Perhaps it should be mentioned somewhere that the hardcoded style (qt4-style-oxygen) needs to be installed for this work (or a hard dependency added on it).

Comment 17 Rex Dieter 2016-06-03 12:37:40 UTC
Not necessary, it tries in order:
oxygen (if available)
cleanlooks (builtin Qt style, always available)

Comment 18 Kevin Kofler 2016-09-28 16:20:09 UTC
IMHO, the "fix" that was deployed is not acceptable, see bug #1380097.

Comment 19 Rex Dieter 2016-09-28 17:15:43 UTC
opting for a compromise,
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1380097#c4

to allow users to override the workaround

Comment 20 Kevin Kofler 2016-09-28 21:03:19 UTC
Even that is not a fix for this issue. It doesn't make sense to close a bug that is not actually fixed.

Comment 21 Rex Dieter 2016-09-28 22:01:47 UTC
Yes it does, CLOSED->UPSTREAM then, feel free to continue comments there,

http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=345883

There's little point in tracking this specifically downstream
