1. Customer Name Richard Davis (PGDS UK Limited) 2. What is the nature and description of the request? I would like an Edit button and menu item to be added to disk under the Disks view. At the moment, the only place to edit disk details is from the Virtual Machine view 3. Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here) The obvious place to edit disks details is under the Disks view. 4. How would the customer like to achieve this? See above 5. For each functional requirement listed in question 4, specify how Red Hat and the customer can test to confirm the requirement is successfully implemented. 6. List the affected packages No idea 9. Would the customer be able to assist in testing this functionality if implemented? Yes

We agreed to remove RFEs component from Bugzilla, if you feel the component has been renamed incorrectly please reach out.
(In reply to spower from comment #18) > We agreed to remove RFEs component from Bugzilla, if you feel the component > has been renamed incorrectly please reach out. Hi - Please forgive me. I am not sure I understand the last comment regarding component renaming. Is there any update on this. It's still the same in RHV4.2 and this was raised 4 years ago. Thank you
Hello Rich, it was just a detail of BZ. In the past the "component" was called RFE, now it is the exact name, like ovirt-node, ovirt-engine etc.
This bug has not been marked as blocker for oVirt 4.3.0. Since we are releasing it tomorrow, January 29th, this bug has been re-targeted to 4.3.1.
Is this enhancement meant only for Webadmin or is this also for RESTAPI ? We(QE) need to know to prepare additional automation if RESTAPI is involved.
All platforms - UI and RESTAPI - should be involved. Still, work on progress.

Verified both on web admin and api. Checked on engine version: 4.4.0-0.9.master.el7. Edit floating disks is now available as requested and expected.
