Burning a DVD of the Everything ISO and installing from that media allowed installation of 43. Previous attempts used a 64gb USB device with Fedora Workstation ISO.

I'm not a regular to this community; is it normal for a bug that blocks installation (that keeps occurring for users) to receive no updates for 3 months? Or is this just considered an edge case? 

If the latter, perhaps it could noted, so that users hit with this can look for alternative solutions.

David you are right to question this. It's not considered an edge case, we are trying to find a fix for this in time for Fedora 44. It's being worked in the current sprint - https://issues.redhat.com/browse/INSTALLER-4590
