Description of problem: There are some bugs encountered in LIBERATION fonts (downloaded at https://www.redhat.com/f/fonts/liberation-fonts-ttf-3.tar.gz). 1. Liberation Serif in Italic and Bold-Italic exchange glyphs "Cyrillic Capital Letter Sha" (U+0428) with "Cyrillic Capital Letter Shcha" (U+0429). 2. Liberation Sans in Bold-Italic has no double dots over "Cyrillic Capital Letter Io" (U+0401) glyph.

According to the testing, the issue had been fixed. You may feel the dots are still no aligned on the following attached pictures. However, they are 'illusions' of human eyes. This could be proved with dragging a horizontal lines to measure by photo editing softwares like Photoshop (r) or GIMP. The latest version of font will be updated on rawhide very soon.

Is there a .tar.gz version on the way for us non-RH-using folks? Or should I generate one using alien?
Never mind; I managed to get the .tar.gz out of the source file. But it (and a zip version) should still be made available for posting on http://www.redhat.com/promo/fonts/.
Created attachment 302088 [details] Sources Tarball Reply to comment #22. Sorry about that. Attaching source tarball in bugzilla as official way for public to download is not supposed to be the case, because it should be hosted in public servers but not bugzilla. There are requests from Fedora community to host this font package. We are looking at working on that after Fedora 9 released. For people who are keen on testing the latest version, please download this attached file.

It is managed by another team and we have coherent communication to update the versions on http://www.redhat.com/promo/fonts/. Please kindly be patient. Finally, thank you very much for supporting on our commitment to liberation-fonts by using it. :)
