A new feature has been developed, which is to create a new installer based on the new TUI code-base. This has been done because the new codebase is more flexible and supports features like response to screen resize request and mouse input. The installer has been migrated to the new TUI codebase and utilizes all it's features

This is fixed in upstream 3.0 Test version: rhev-hypervisor6-6.5-20130930.0.auto665.el6.iso ovirt-node-3.0.1-3.el6.noarch Test steps: 1. Clean install RHEV-H. 2. Check the new installation TUI. Test results: 1. The new installation TUI looking good. It can provide the same functionality as the old UI(6.4). 2. The package python-urwid has been added. 3. Install RHEV-H via new installation TUI can successful. 4. The base function of all menus work fine. So this bug is fixed in rhev-hypervisor6-6.5-20130930.0.auto665.el6.iso. I will recheck it when I got official build. For the detail functions of new installation TUI, I would like to track them using detail bugs as the followings: #867843 #885017 #887253 #895379 #901425 #913338 #911398 #970981 #976342 Thanks! This bug is currently attached to errata RHBA-2013:15277. (NB: this is not the same as 'the bug doesn't present anymore') Once filled out, please set the "Doc Type" field to the appropriate value for the type of change made and submit your edits to the bug. For further details on the Cause, Consequence, Fix, Result format please refer to: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/page.cgi?id=fields.html#cf_release_notes Thanks in advance. Test version: rhevh-6.5-20131031.1.0 ovirt-node-3.0.1-7.el6.noarch Test steps: 1. Hi Fabiand, I noticed that this bug depends on: bug911398(on_qa); 970981(on_qa); 976342(verified), can I verify this bug with above build directly? or wait until all depend bugs fixed? Thanks! (In reply to shaochen from comment #12) ... > Hi Fabiand, > > I noticed that this bug depends on: bug911398(on_qa); 970981(on_qa); > 976342(verified), can I verify this bug with above build directly? or wait > until all depend bugs fixed? Hey Chen, I think the other busg need to be VERIFIED before this one can be moved to VERIFIED too. Test version: rhevh-6.5-20131213.0.0 ovirt-node-3.0.1-9.el6_5.noarch Test steps: 1. So this bug is fixed, and all depends bugs were fixed too, so change bug status to VERIFIED. Re-verify this bug with rhevh-6.5-20140110.1 ovirt-node-3.0.1-16.el6_5.noarch.rpm Test steps: 1. So this bug is fixed on rhevh-6.5-20140110.1.
