This also affects f19 https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2013-13548 (Ok to use same bug report?)
i hope so because maintainers also push updates for F19 if you report bugs for F18 all the time and the reported Fedora version does not matter :-)
have this bug too
(In reply to Harald Reindl from comment #2) > i hope so because maintainers also push updates for F19 if you report bugs > for F18 all the time and the reported Fedora version does not matter :-) It does matter in the general case. Not all packages are pushed out across all versions. In this specific case, we can use one bug. Thanks for the report. I'll drop the AMD microcode for now, and work with the microcode_ctl maintainer on migrating.
Fixed in git and builds started.

Anton, AMD seems to have moved to distributing the AMD ucode in the upstream linux-firmware repository now. See: http://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/firmware/linux-firmware.git/commit/?id=31f6b3076bab3c4b65f67fdb232f4579ed828b4f How do you want to handle this between linux-firmware and microcode_ctl? I'd suggest we leave all existing releases alone and focus on >= F20.
I have this too

linux-firmware-20130724-28.git31f6b30.fc19 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 19. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/linux-firmware-20130724-28.git31f6b30.fc19

Yay! Finally... We certainly want to abandon the microcode_ctl. I wonder, when Intel put their microcode to linux-firmware as well. I'm ok to remove the AMD bits from the microcode_ctl for F20. I will also ping Intel to figure out their plan. Anton.

Please don't change the version of bugs. We're aware it impacts all the versions. It has also been fixed in all the versions and subsequent updates filed for them as noted by comment #9 and comment #10 rawhide should be fixed with this morning's compose.
