I'm looking into the update to see if it fixes the failures described in bz1687384.

Comment 3 Miro Hrončok 2019-03-12 14:30:39 UTC
The does don't build with Sphinx 2.0.0b1:

https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/pytest/pull-request/8 was updated to 4.3.1

Comment 8 Miro Hrončok 2019-03-27 15:40:04 UTC
Thomas, let's do this? There might be breakage and I rather have the breakage now instead of having 3.8 update blocked on it.
I will figure out eh important breakage, as I bootstrap 3.8, but I don't want to find out 800 packages FTBFS once we have the side tag.

Comment 10 Miro Hrončok 2019-04-01 05:35:11 UTC
I rather start with 4.3.x. Thomas?

Comment 11 Petr Viktorin (pviktori) 2019-04-03 13:38:55 UTC
Thomas or Matthias, what are your thoughts here? Is anything blocking an update to pytest-4.3.x in Rawhide?

Comment 12 Matthias Runge 2019-04-04 09:46:13 UTC
Personally, I'd say: let's go with it, but maybe Thomas has a different opinion?

I will provide 4.4 pull request later today or tomorrow.

4.4 needs pluggy 0.9.
